Also systematische Vergewaltigungen stehen durchaus in Zweifel.

ZitatNew York Times Launches Leak Investigation Over Report on Its Israel-Gaza Coverage
[...]
The New York Times is conducting a leak investigation following a report in The Intercept about a yet-to-be-aired episode of The Daily addressing explosive claims of sexual violence committed by Hamas on October 7. Management in recent weeks has pulled at least two dozen staffers, including Daily producers, into meetings in an attempt to understand how internal details about the podcast’s editorial process got out, according to multiple sources familiar with the matter. The investigation, I’m told, is being led by Charlotte Behrendt, the paper’s director of policy and internal investigations.

German memory culture, anti-Semitic Zionists and Palestinian liberation
Germany’s much lauded ‘memory culture’ is pure, empty, self-congratulatory propaganda.
[...] The sick, decades-long collaboration between Israel and Germany and the widespread assertion that Israel’s security is “Germany’s reason of state”(“Staatsraeson”), which upholds Zionist socialisation in the interests of political, racist ends, has created an atmosphere of fear, shame, guilt and ultimately self-righteousness that permeates much of German society. It punishes questions, dissuades education and quashes the necessary understanding of Judaism as a broad, differentiated and historically diasporic culture that existed long before Zionism – and will exist long after.
This designation of all Jews and all Judaism as a single uniform entity, necessarily speaking the same language (modern Hebrew), holding the same values (Zionism) and sharing an identical culture (which in Germany, must be determined by Germans), is, in fact, the precise definition of anti-Semitic, Nazistic racial segregation and the othering, dehumanising rhetoric they employed in its service. The rigid and inherently anti-Semitic conception of Jews as an undifferentiated people “native” to one land, characterised by the nationalist settler-colonial Zionist movement, has merely served as a continuation of Hitler’s work. It has erased secular Judaism in Europe. It has eradicated the Yiddish, Ladino, Judeo-Arabic, Judeo-Persian and other Hebraic languages. Eighty years after the Holocaust, it has succeeded in upholding the view of Jews as a monolith, a foreign nuisance separate from German society, the attempted annihilation of whom can now be exploited to justify the annihilation of another group.
The tradition of policing Jewishness has been passed down in Germany for generations now, which, as in the case of the man at the anti-AfD demonstration, revolves not just around an established, homogenous definition of Jews but, crucially, also the exclusive right and obligation of the Germans to dictate it.
So what are we left with? I believe we can see it in our aforementioned statistic. The majority of Germans know, despite what they have been raised and conditioned to believe, that at the very least, what is going on in Gaza is wrong. Many can see that there is something significant and conspicuous missing in the mainstream narrative around anti-Semitism, Israel and Palestine. I would venture that the majority of those in the streets marching against the AfD are doing it because they genuinely want to stand on the right side of history. Meanwhile, what is in reality a minority is simply louder, angrier and more visible in propagating their anti-Arab, anti-Muslim and anti-Palestinian racism, anti-Semitism and pro-genocide views and, in being so, intimidate the rest into docile silence.

ZitatThe Republic of Nicaragua institutes proceedings against the Federal Republic of Germany and requests the Court to indicate provisional measures
THE HAGUE, 1 March 2024. Nicaragua today filed an Application instituting proceedings against Germany before the International Court of Justice for alleged violations by Germany of its obligations deriving from the Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide (the “Genocide Convention”), the Geneva Conventions of 1949 and their Additional Protocols, “intransgressible principles of international humanitarian law” and other norms of general international law in relation to the Occupied Palestinian Territory, particularly the Gaza Strip.
The Applicant states that “[e]ach and every Contracting Party to the Genocide Convention has a duty under the Convention to do everything possible to prevent the commission of genocide” and that, since October 2023, there has been “a recognised risk of genocide against the Palestinian people, directed first of all against the population of the Gaza Strip”. Nicaragua argues that by providing political, financial and military support to Israel and by defunding the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA), “Germany is facilitating the commission of genocide and, in any case has failed in its obligation to do everything possible to prevent the commission of genocide”.
Nicaragua seeks to found the Court’s jurisdiction on the declarations by which both States accept the compulsory jurisdiction of the Court and on the compromissory clause contained in Article IX of the Genocide Convention.
The Application also contains a Request for the indication of provisional measures, pursuant to Article 41 of the Statute of the Court and Articles 73, 74 and 75 of the Rules of Court. Nicaragua requests the Court to indicate provisional measures as a matter of extreme urgency, pending the Court’s determination on the merits of the case, with respect to Germany’s “participation in the ongoing plausible genocide and serious breaches of international humanitarian law and other peremptory norms of general international law occurring in the Gaza Strip”.
Pursuant to Article 74 of the Rules of Court, “[a] request for the indication of provisional measures shall have priority over all other cases”.

Bezieht sich wohl hierauf:
US defence secretary's comments suggest Israel is nowhere close to destroying Hamas
Lloyd Austin's figures also imply that even if you conclude all the men killed by Israel are combatants - an absurd conclusion but one that has been drawn by some - then more than 80% of the total killed in Gaza since October are civilians.
[...] The Pentagon later added: "We cannot independently verify these Gaza casualty figures…" and that Lloyd Austin was referring to the total number killed.
But the fact that the American defence secretary is now openly quoting Gazan health ministry numbers is hugely significant.
Intentionally or otherwise it adds pressure on Israel as ceasefire talks drag on and are repeatedly stalled.
Throughout this conflict, doubt has been cast by the American administration over the accuracy of the figures emerging from Gaza. [...]
The latest Hamas numbers, from their health ministry, say about 30,000 people have died.
Hamas does not break down the deaths between combatants and non-combatants.
The latest health ministry figures, from 28 February, say 12,300 children have been killed and 8,400 women, which comes to 20,700. These are figures American politicians are now comfortable citing.
Before this war, Hamas is believed to have had about 30,000 fighters.
So all this tells us that Israel is nowhere near close to its stated aim of totally destroying Hamas.
And it tells us that the Gaza health ministry numbers, undermined for months by the US administration, are now being used by that enabler of this conflict in an acknowledgement of the scale of the death toll.
There is some debate over whether America has lost leverage over Israel or whether it's just not willing to pull the leavers. [...]
History shows America does have influence. In the last Gaza war in 2021 which I reported on from Israel and Gaza, it took one phone call from President Biden to stop it.
"Look man, we're out of runway here… it's over," Joe Biden is quoted as telling Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
That war stopped a few days later. Of course, the enduring peace never came because the international community then lost interest again. [...]

ZitatIsraeli minister calls for ‘wiping out’ month of Ramadan
‘Our fear of this month must also be wiped out,’ says Israeli heritage minister
JERUSALEM
Extremist Israeli minister called Friday to "wipe out" the month of Ramadan and disregard the tension in the West Bank and East Jerusalem during the holy month.
"The so-called month of Ramadan must be wiped out, and our fear of this month must also be wiped out," Israeli Heritage Minister Amichai Eliyahu told Army Radio.
The far-right politician is a minister from the Otzma Yehudit party headed by National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir.
In November, Eliyahu said dropping a "nuclear bomb" on the Gaza Strip is "an option."

Nun sinkt der Düngemittel-Transporter in stürmischer See.
