ZitatCommunications Ministry denies validity of what Zionist enemy media promoted regarding submarine cables [27/February/2024]
SANA'A February 27.2024 (Saba) -The Ministry of Telecoms and Information Technology (MTIT) denies what has been published by the Zionist-linked media outlets and also what has been published by other media outlets and the social media networks, on the allegations as to what have been caused to Red Sea submarine cables last Saturday.
The Capital Sanaa MTIT and Government of Yemen (GoY) reaffirm its obligation to the general position of the Yemen Republic toward the submarine cables which was mentioned in the speech of Al-sayed, the Leader, recently, further to what he already stated in their earlier statements and press releases that they are once again so keen to keep all telecom submarine cables and its relevant services away from any possible risks
The MTIT and GOY also emphasize they are so keen also to provide all necessary facilities to get such submarine cables repaired and maintained, provided that such concerned parties have to obtain the required licenses and permits from the Sana'a Maritime Affairs Authority.
The Sana'a MTIT and GOY also brings to notice that the Yemen's decision to ban the passage of Israeli ships does not pertain the other international ships which have been licensed to execute submarine works within the Yemeni territorial waters.
Scheint so:

Zitat(Bloomberg) -- A subsea cable off the coast of Yemen that connects Europe to India has been damaged, and the telecommunications carrier that owns it must now figure out how to make underwater repairs in a war zone.
Seacom Ltd., the South African company that controls the cable, detected a fault on Saturday, Chief Digital Officer Prenesh Padayachee said in an interview with Bloomberg on Monday. He estimated the problem is in waters about 150 meters (492 feet) to 170 meters deep in an area where Iran-backed Houthi fighters have been targeting ships with drones and missiles.
Grund unklar:
ZitatHouthi militants have made threats to sabotage critical undersea cables on social media, but there’s no evidence to suggest they have been successful. The vast majority of cable damage is caused by fishing equipment such as trawler nets or anchors dragging on the sea floor, according to data from the International Cable Protection Committee.
“It’s too early to tell if it’s sabotage,” Padayachee said. “Only once we lift the cable will we be able to see if someone has cut it.”
Zitat[...] The company is working with a cable repair company owned by Emirates Telecommunications Group Co. PJSC on a plan, including how to insure the repair ship and whether they’ll need military escorts or armed security.
“A pending cease-fire in the region may provide a good window for the repair,” Padayachee said.

ZitatBiden’s Never Been Driven By Human Rights. This Time, It Might Cost Him.
Don’t be so surprised about his response to the Middle East war. He’s always been willing to put human rights on the back burner.
The Israel-Hamas war has proven much about President Joe Biden.
He cares deeply about Israel’s survival. He’s willing to devote major resources to the Middle East, despite a desire to focus more on China. And he’s really, really had it with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
Here’s another reality the bloodshed in Israel and Gaza has exposed: Biden is not — fundamentally — a human rights president.
Also meine Reaktion - eure vielleicht ähnlich - ist da "Und ...

[...] This happened after Israeli media and German politicians absurdly labeled my Berlinale award speech - where I called for equality between Israelis and Palestinians, a ceasefire and an end to apartheid - as ‘antisemitic’.
The appalling misuse of this word by Germans, not only to silence Palestinian critics of Israel, but also to silence Israelis like me who support a ceasefire that will end the killing in Gaza and allow the release of the Israeli hostages - empties the word antisemitism of meaning and thus endangers Jews all over the world.
As my grandmother was born in a concentration camp in Libya and most of my grandfather’s family was murdered by Germans in the holocaust, I find it particularly outraging that German politicians in 2024 have the audacity to weaponize this term against me in a way that endangered my family. But above all else, this behavior puts Palestinian co-director Basel Adra’s life in danger, who lives under a military occupation surrounded by violent settlements in Masafer Yatta. He is in far greater danger than I am.
I’m happy our award winning film, No Other Land, is sparking an important international debate on this issue - and I hope that millions of people watch it when it comes out this year. Sparking a conversation is why we made it. You can have harsh criticism of what me and Basel said on stage without demonizing us. If this is what you’re doing with your guilt for the holocaust - I don’t want your guilt.
-
You dont want our guilt?
But the will be no escape from it.

Israel Not Complying with World Court Order in Genocide Cavse
ZitatOne month later, however, Israel continues to obstruct the provision of basic services and the entry and distribution within Gaza of fuel and lifesaving aid, acts of collective punishment that amount to war crimes and include the use of starvation of civilians as a weapon of war. Fewer trucks have entered Gaza and fewer aid missions have been permitted to reach northern Gaza in the several weeks since the ruling than in the weeks preceding it, according to United Nations Office of the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA).
“The Israeli government is starving Gaza’s 2.3 million Palestinians, putting them in even more peril than before the World Court’s binding order,” said Omar Shakir, Israel and Palestine director at Human Rights Watch. “The Israeli government has simply ignored the court’s ruling, and in some ways even intensified its repression, including further blocking lifesaving aid.”
Other countries should use all forms of leverage, including sanctions and embargoes, to press the Israeli government to comply with the court’s binding orders in the genocide case, Human Rights Watch said.

Putin, Hamas...
Komisch.

ZitatPublic Broadcaster Kan Removes Segment Labelling Israeli Berlinale Winner's Speech Antisemitic
Israeli film director Yuval Avraham's acceptance speech, which referenced oppressed Palestinians in the West Bank, was labeled 'anti-Semitic' by public broadcaster Kan. Avraham has 'received countless threats, death-wishes and curses' since its publication, his lawyers say
Journalist and filmmaker Yuval Abraham, who, along with his co-creators, took home the Berlinale prize for the documentary No Other Land, wrote a letter to Israel's public broadcaster Kan, demanding they apologize on air and in writing for calling the acceptance speech he made at the Berlin Film Festival "antisemitic" and to remove the news item from the network's platforms.
[...]
The latter part of Abraham's demands were met when Kan removed both the segment from their platforms as well as a corresponding tweet on their X account.
A spokesperson from Kan told Haaretz, "Yesterday we reported on Yuval Abraham's speech after the film No Other Land won the prize for Best Documentary Film at the Berlin Film Festival. The report was accompanied by a caption that described his speech as antisemitic. We want to make it clear that it would have been better to word the caption differently."
The spokesperson went on to say, "As we emphasized in the evening news, what was missing from Abraham's speech at the festival was Hamas, the October 7 massacre, and the hostages."

ZitatMichigan's 100,000 'uncommitted' votes show Israel impact on Biden
DEARBORN, Michigan/WASHINGTON, Feb 28 (Reuters) - Joe Biden's campaign and top Democratic officials vowed to double down on efforts to win back former supporters after being hit by a much stronger-than-anticipated protest vote in the Michigan primary over the president's support of Israel.
About 13.2% of Michigan Democrats cast a ballot for "uncommitted" in the nominating contest, following a weeks-long push by activists, an Edison Research tally showed after 9 a.m. (1400 GMT) on Wednesday. With about 85% of all votes counted, the uncommitted vote was already over 101,000 votes, far higher than expected.
Biden hat ein richtiges Problem.

So ungefähr:
