Weiß nicht, ob Todd diese Information tatsächlich hat, aber das meinte ich. Formal müsste Biden seine Delegierten entbinden, aber ich glaube es gibt nichts das verhindert, dass sie einfach so abstimmen wie so wollen. Natürlich versucht Bidens Kampagne zu unterbinden, dass es dazu kommt:

Das ist ja die Trump-origin story: Trump war einer der "birther". Obama hat sich dann bei dieser Presse-Feier mit den Komikeinlagen über ihn lustig gemacht und da hat er beschlossen Präsident zu werden. So die Legende. Eigentlich geht die Darstellung von Obama als "Moslem" auf die Clinton-Kampagne zurück, die das wohl als erste gegen ihn verwendet haben, aber gut es wäre natürlich spätestens von den Republikanern aufgegriffen worden.

Ich glaube die Ukrainefahne ist ein Hinweis und in diesem "Blue Anon"-Umfeld finden sich viele Leute, die eifrig nicken, wenn Biden davon schwadroniert, wie er die NATO zusammengebracht hat. Für die allermeisten US-Wähler sollte das keine Relevanz haben, insofern bezweifle ich, dass Stimmverweigerung wegen einem Ausscheiden von Biden in einem wirksamen Ausmaß auftreten würde.
